Mostly human.

If one of our episodic projects get green-lit we may have to round out a writing team. People skills are needed.

What are your goals for the Great American PitchFest? To find some collaborators to work on some of our own stories and possibly some new projects to produce.
Have you had success at pitching events before? Yes, at earlier GAPFs
Do you have any GAPF success stories you can share with us from previous years? Some of the meetings that have started at GAPF have grown in to strong professional relationships that has been extremely indispensable.
Is there any advice you would like to offer the writers who are pitching you? Relax, enjoy the experience. Be yourselves. It is just a casual get together. Help us believe in your projects and abilities. Here is our process:

Once a script is submitted via email, the script is determined to be solicited or not. Unsolicited scripts will be deleted.

If you pitch to us at the Pitchfest and we show interest we will give you a code to submit with. That code will allow your submission to go to our readers.

Our readers will give us their recommendations and notes.

From there we will decide to whom we will contact for conversations.

If you have not heard from us with in a month or two, assume that we are passing on that particular submission.

No further contact will be necessary.

If we decide to pass on anything or anybody it is just about compatibility not ability or worth. Just being at this event puts you light years ahead those who just sit back and dream. You are putting action to your plans.
